Helping You Build a Calm, Confident & Well-Behaved Dog

Hi, I’m Charlie, the owner of Star’s Walks Pet Services.

My passion has always been helping dogs and their owners build stronger, happier relationships. While I offer professional dog walking and pet care services, my main focus is dog training and behaviour, using a holistic approach that looks at the dog as a whole—not just the behaviour they’re displaying.

My journey started with my own dogs, each of whom has taught me invaluable lessons.

Star, who my business is named after, became nervous and reactive after being attacked. Helping her rebuild her confidence through patience, structure and understanding inspired me to learn everything I could about canine behaviour.

Archie, who sadly lost his sight due to illness, taught me the importance of trust, calm guidance and adapting training to each dog’s individual needs.

Angel, now 14 years old, uses a wheelchair due to mobility issues and reminds me every day that every dog deserves patience, kindness and care tailored to them.

Naya was born deaf and has shown me how much dogs rely on clear communication, body language and consistency rather than words.

And Otis, my friendly little Jack Russell, has become a fantastic confidence builder for nervous dogs, helping them feel safe around others.

These experiences have shaped the trainer I am today.

I am DBS checked, fully insured, Canine First Aid trained, and currently studying a Level 4 qualification in Advanced Canine Behaviour to continue expanding my knowledge. I also volunteer at a local rescue centre, working hands-on with dogs from a wide variety of backgrounds, temperaments and behavioural challenges.

Whether I’m working with puppies, adolescent dogs, nervous rescues or dogs needing help with everyday manners, my aim is always the same—to build confidence, improve communication and create practical, lasting results that fit into real life.

Every walk is an opportunity to reinforce good habits, every training session is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, and every dog is treated as if they were one of my own.

If you’re looking for someone who genuinely understands canine behaviour and is committed to helping both you and your dog succeed, I’d love to hear from you.
